This podcast is all about my personal loves: travel, history, and food.  I started this podcast in 2016 in a fit of creativity after switching jobs. I scanned the world of history podcasts and travel podcasts and found nowhere where they intersected.

I am not particularly qualified to do this, beyond being a reasonably good storyteller and a good eater.  My bachelor's degree is in French Cultural Studies, which helps for the handful of French episodes, but not much more than that. And I've only (so far) been to 25% of the places I'm documenting. I have eaten all the food, though!

 

Thankfully, since starting the show in 2016, I've been fortunate enough to interview experts and travelers from across the globe, all in an attempt to bring you closer to our shared culture and history.  There are amazing stories to tell, and I hope you'll share your time with me.
